Individual Therapy

We offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) fused together with a variety of therapy styles in order to design a treatment plan that will be catered to work specifically for you.

One of our qualified therapists will take you through a thorough assessment, where we will determine our therapy style, approach and the tools we will use during our sessions together.

Couples Therapy

We use Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) when we work with couples.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a form of therapy that focuses on adult relationships and attachment/bonding styles. With this style we identify patterns in the relationship and take steps to create a more secure bond and develop a greater sense of trust so the relationship can evolve in a healthier, more positive direction.

Family Therapy + Child Therapy (6+)

Attachment Based Psychotherapy can be used with our Family + Child treatment plans

Attachment-based therapy is based on developing or rebuilding trust and centers on learning how to more clearly express emotions in a productive and meaningful way (instead of letting them take control).

This type of therapy can be used in individual therapy, family therapy and  with both children and adults, to help our clients mend or recover from fractured family relationships.

An attachment-based approach to therapy looks at the connection between a child’s early attachment experiences with their primary caregivers, usually with parents, and the child’s ability to develop and form healthy emotional and physical relationships as an adult.

We use multiple modalities to help build or rebuild a trusting, supportive relationship that will help prevent or treat anxiety or depression.

Types of Therapy We Specialize In

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for Individual Therapy

To help you build confidence and overcome negative thinking, we use a model of therapy called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

We have specialized training in CBT to help our clients manage anxiety and depression while building your confidence.  CBT is the most empirically validated and research based model of therapy proven to help individuals reprogram their thinking patterns, and ultimately, build a stronger sense of self-confidence.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Relationship Therapy

We have specialized training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the most empirically validated and researched model of therapy to help relationships heal.  Research shows that 70-75% of couples move from conflict and tension to love and connection, and approximately 90% show significant improvements overall in their relationships.  The best part is, the results hold for the long-term!

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for PTSD

Our therapists are trauma-informed and ready to support you in processing and recovering from traumatic experiences. We use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)

MBCT a type of psychotherapy that involves a combination of cognitive therapy, meditation, and the cultivation of presence and a non-judgmental attitude toward yourself called "mindfulness."

Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT)

The main goal of IPT is to improve the quality of your relationships and hone your emotional intelligence, which will give our clients a greater confidence in social settings and within relationships such as partnerships, friendships, family and work. The aim is to help reduce your distress and social anxieties.

Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is an approach to therapy that identifies wounded experiences and painful emotions beneath the surface. Here we help our clients make the connection to the different parts of their Self, and offer practical tools to help them navigate and process past experiences in a more productive and meaningful way.

Narrative Psychotherapy

Narrative therapy (sometimes referred to as Narrative Practice) is a form of psychotherapy that aims to help our clients identify their values and hone the skills associated with them. It provides our clients with knowledge and the practical skills required to embody these values so they can effectively confront current and future problems.

Solution Focused Therapy (SFT)

Solution focused therapy (SFT) is a future-oriented, goal-directed approach to Psychotherapy. This type of therapy is a great approach for anyone who is motivated to set goals and achieve them. We focus on building up your strengths (rather than dwelling on weaknesses), and we provide you with the skills, resources and coping strategies that would support you in reaching future goals.
